Does TI have the monitor software or method?

    Hi Jingkun,

    You refer to our register map in section 8.6 of the datasheet for what values can be monitored in our registers. Our 814 only supports a single communication speed (100Mbps).

    Master/slave setting can be  detected in register 0x1834, link up/down is in register 0x1. Packet errors (CRC errors) can be detected in registers 0x63B and 0x63E.

    I'm not really sure what is meant by protocol.

    The rest of the variables are monitored on the application/processor level. We do not have a method for this, the Ethernet team focuses only on the configuration of the Ethernet chip.
