DP83TG720S-Q1: CLKOUT output 125MHz

Thank you for providing the context. What do you mean you want to use it as a homogenous clock signal for SGMII?

Do you mean you will connect this pin directly to the processor and the CLK signal to SGMII? If so, the DP83TG720S is only capable of 4-wire SGMII, where the clock is derived from the signals.

It cannot support 6 wire SGMII where the is a pair of separate wires for the TX/RX CLK.

Yes, I use 4 wire SGMII.

The question is what is the different between the 2 type 125M clk? And I tried as below:

1. set 0x0453=0x19

2. set 0x0453=0x21

but the CLKOUT didn't ouput anything.
