Hi All,

I have a question about the DS89C21.

Could you please tell me the Common-Mode input Voltage Range on the receiver side?

The Absolute Maximum Ratings state Receiver Input Voltage—Vcm, but what is the recommended operating value?

The absolute maximum ratings specify ±14 V.

The test conditions in the electrical characteristics often are ±7 V. But the input current is specified for up to ±10 V, so that one must be allowed.

Hi Ishiwata,

Clemens is correct. The receiver current conditions specifies up to +/-10 V so the operating value can be anywhere around or below that point.
