Hi ,

As i know TCAN1044A din thave detection feature, but If an event of short to battery occurs how will identify.

    Haricharan,

    The only way will be the controller detecting errors. It won't tell you it is a short to battery, but you will know something is corrupting the CAN communication. Along with this, the transceiver will consume more current, so monitoring both of these will at least give an idea that something is faulting on the CAN bus.
