Hi TI team,
Is there an IBIS model available for the TUSB211A? Or any other simulation models like HSPICE or etc?
Regards,
Ken.

Hi Ken,
We have an HSPICE model for the TUSB212/TUSB213, which while not the exact same, can give an idea of the type of performance you can expect with a redriver.
We also have a Spectre model for the TUSB216 which is closer to if not the same performance as the TUSB211A. If you want either of those, please let me know and I can send them out. If you have the NDA ID for AMD with TI, that would also be good for properly protecting these files.
Thanks,
Ryan
Hi Ryan,
Would you have details of the performance limitations of using either of those 2 models?
Would be interested to get them both. How should we proceed?
Thanks.
Regards,
Ken.
Hi Ken,
I can't say I do know the details for performance limitations between these two. As far as I am aware, they are able to properly simulate the device performance in a system.
For getting these models, I will send you a friend request over E2E. Please accept that, that way I can send you an E2E PM and deliver the files you're looking for.
For the TUSB212/213 HSPICE, I will need an NDA ID of some sort just to password protect the files. You can provide that, or I can look on my side.
Thanks,
Ryan
