  • Hi Jeremy,

Here is my schematic review: TUSB211AQ1_Schem_Review.pdf.

    It’s urgent ! , Do i need add choke ?

We typically recommend against including common-mode chokes into USB2 signals, as these can cause signals to degrade in quality, unless there is a large amount of noise in the signal.

and TUSB211A-Q1 USB2.0 Re-driver to deliver USB signals between two ICs  ?

we need contact two ICs by usb2.0 signal .

What is the distance between these ICs? A block diagram with cable/trace lengths for reference would be useful. We recommend the TUSB211A-Q1 for lengths between 1-5 meters, starting at the lowest setting and building up as needed.

Please let me know if you have any other questions.

    Thanks,

    Ryan

  • HI Ryan , I think 5 meters is enough , and can you share phone number ? and remove choke , please review again , thanks

  • Hi Jeremy,

Removed choke is good, I do that the net names for the D1P/M and D2P/M pins are different. If this is intentional, please make sure that the trace is connecting under the device and through those pins correctly, or else the redriver will not work, and the USB2 trace will be broken.

Unfortunately, I am not able to provide my phone number. If possible, lets please keep all forms of communication over E2E, so that our team can better track this E2E.

    Thanks,

    Ryan
