TUSB7340: Host and device mode USB ports

Hello,

I have a customer looking at devices that can add some USB ports to a processor through the PCIe interface. Does the xHCI controller allow for some of the ports to be a host configuration and some to be a peripheral device? Or do all the ports have to be the same?

For TUSB7340, all ports should be host.

Hey Brian,

Does the xhci protocol itself support split modes of operation and this is a device implementation limitation or is this not supported by the xHCI standard?

Hi Munan:

OTG device can support both host configuration and peripheral device. But TUSB7340 was configured as host only .
