THVD9491-SEP: Clarification needed for the Device Functional Modes

Part Number: THVD9491-SEP

Tool/software:

Hello,

While going through the datasheet of this part I noticed section 7.4 Device Functional Modes and Table 7-1 refer to the differential outputs as "A" and "B" instead of "Y" and "Z" like in Table 4-1 or elsewhere in the document. Is this just a mistake in the datasheet or does it mean the A and B pins are somehow connected to Y and Z?

Thanks,

Michal

  • Hi Michal,

It looks like you are correct, the table 4-1 is definitely a typo since the A/B pins are input pins. Since this device is a full duplex transceiver the Y/Z pins and the A/B pins are not connected to each other. I'll see if I can make the correction in the datasheet but it may not go live until the device releases to market later this year.
