TCAN1044A-Q1: replacement NXP TJA1049

Hi,

The current customer RnD uses NXP TJA1049. There are suggestions to use TCAN1044A to replace NXP TJA1049.

The price is acceptable for purchaser, but the RnD feedback if they change CAN transceiver and the communication needs to be re-tested and verified.

Is there any relevant information that can prove that TCAN1044A can completely replace NXP TJA1049?

    These devices are identical in pinout and function, besides the wake-up response. The TCAN1044A-Q1 responds to a dominant->recessive->dominant wake-up pulse, where RXD will toggle low after the second dominant pulse and ensuing dominant pulses thereafter. The TJA1049 responds recessive->dominant wake-up pulse, and then RXD will respond after only one dominant.
