BQ24392: Trouble with BQ24392 and attached devices in Host mode.

Part Number: BQ24392

Tool/software:

We're using a BQ24392 to support USB BCS 1.2 for A to C adapters and a separate chip for USB-C to support 5V / 3A (CC line interrogation).

This device requires Dual Role support.

It must be able to hook to a host PC, or CDP or DCP.

It should be able to host some of our products and host a USB flash drive.

We are finding that in the situation where an upstream facing device is attached (our product is hosting) it's a gamble whether or not the device ever enumerates because the BQ24392 has decided to keep its switches on D+ / D- Open.

We've used this chip in a previous product with USB-C DRP so I'm surprised we're suddenly having problems.

Is this a known issue? What causes the problem?

-Thanks
