TCAN1145-Q1: Icc at sleep mode

Part Number: TCAN1145-Q1

Tool/software:

Hello experts,

In the datasheet of TCAN1145-Q1, Icc at sleep mode is described (5uA max). However, in sleep mode, voltage does not come to Vcc pin as INH pin is low and thus EN pin of LDO/DCDC is low.

If the voltage of Vcc pin is 0V, does the Icc of 5uA max change to 0A? If not, does it come from Vsup pin? How can we convert Icc to Isup?

Thanks,

Kento

  • Kento,

Yes, if VCC is not applied, that current won't be transferred to VSUP, it just means that the VCC pin won't be consuming any current due to any internal circuitry that may be connected to the pin during sleep mode.

    Regards,

    Eric Hackett
