Hi,

I am using 4-channel LVDS buffer IC DS15BR400, I am using only 2 channels.

Un-used channels should be left floating or should terminate to ground?

Unused outputs should be left open.

Unused inputs must have a valid voltage (and a valid differential voltage). This is usually done with resistors; see the section "input failsafe biasing" on p. 8.

Hi,

The unused inputs should be tied off as listed below to ensure the outputs remain in a stable state.

IN+ = 3.3K to VDD

IN- = 3.3K to GND

This will ensure 50mV of offset at the input which is enough to keep the output from switching.
