TCAN1146-Q1: WUF data validation with 2 data bits

In the TCAN1146-Q1 WUF data validation process, 8 data bytes are implemented and data mask is enabled by the customer. Customer wanted that TCAN1146-Q1 can be waked-up only when there are 2 data bits matching between the received frame data and configured frame data. Can TCAN1146-Q1 support this requirement? If yes, would you show how TCAN1146-Q1 are configured to implement it in details?

The background is from autosar can network management. ONLY both PNI and PNC bits are matched then TCAN1146-Q1 can be selected waked-up.

Yes, this is supported by the TCAN1146-Q1. For data validation, filters can be used so that only select bits matching will be valid in the data phase. We have an application note, located here, that explains the configuration for selective wake and gives examples of using the data validation as well. Please send this to the customer for understanding and if they still have questions feel free to post them here.

From 5.2 valid data example in the shared application note, TCAN1146-Q1 seemed no to supported what customer wanted.

What customer wanted here is that only data C is matched and be waked-up while data A and B should not be waked-up. Would you double check if TCAN 1146-Q1 is waked-up only when both 2 data bits are match between the received frame data and configured frame data?

My mistake, and that is correct, to pass data validation, only one logic high bit needs to match in the data phase of the message.
