Hello experts,
I would like to confirm reverse battery protection method of TCAN1146-Q1.
As we can see in the datasheet of TCAN1146-Q1, reverse battery wiring will damage the device.
As far as I know, we can protect the device even when there is a reverse battery wiring by placing a diode before Vsup pin as shown below.
Is it enough for reverse battery protection of TCAN1146-Q1? or, is there any concern to violate the abs. max. rating?
