DS90UB929-Q1: Any test standard for FPD-link product

Hi Team,

My customer designed with DS90UB929 and it seems the display is OK!

However, they were trying to perform Eye pattern test and did not know test pass or not?

Is there any test standard value of FPD-link product to judge test pass or fail?

    Hi Peter,

    What is the deserializer used in the customer's system? Is the customer trying to do an eye diagram of the serializer only or at the deserializer side? We recommend using the Margin Analysis Program (MAP) on the deserializer to determine the quality of the link.

    The deserializer will also offer a CMLOUT pair that the customer measure on the deserializer. The output of CMLOUT will only be recovered from the forward channel. For example, in the 928 datasheet we typical eye height and width for the CMLOUT measurement.
