DS90LV011AQ-Q1: An increase in power off leakage current an issue?

Part Number: DS90LV011AQ-Q1

Tool/software:

Any issues with an increase in power off leakage current to about 120uA?  Specifically (Out - with VDD = 0V and Vo = 0V)

The receiver on the other end should not have any issues however I wanted the opinion of the manufacturer.  Thanks in advance!

  • Hi David,

The datasheet shows that the power of leakage current maximum to be +/- 10 uA. Would be able to provide more details on your question?

    Thank you,

    Amy

  • The leakage current was measured after "environmental screening" was conducted on the component.  The current on the - out pin when powered off and Vo = 0V was measured as +120uA which indicates the Out- pin has 120uA of current flowing into it.  I can't see this as being an issue regardless of the measured value exceeding datasheet specifications.

  • Hi David,

The datasheet mentions a short circuit absolute maximum of 24 mA. It is not recommended to operate the device for extended periods of time above the recommended conditions.
    Thanks, Amy
