Hi Team,

We are planning to use TUSB8041IRGCT USB3.0 Hub in our new industrial gateway design. just want to know this chipset required additional driver software for working?

Hi Jithesh:

TUSB8041IRGCT hub use Windows or Linus default hub driver , there is no additional driver needed to make it work.

Also suggest to use TUSB8041A instead of TUSB8041

Also suggest to use TUSB8041A instead of TUSB8041 : is there any advantages by using TUSB8041A.?

Currently we are using TUSB8041IRGCT. we need 2 channel of usb3.0 and 2 channel of usb 2.0.

so in usb 2.0 we are not using sstx, ssrx signals. how we can terminate that signal? can we keep it as floating?

Hi Jithesh:

TUSB8041A is USB 3.1 compliant and TUSB8041 is USB3.0 complaint. There is also battery charging upgrade for TUSB8041A.

If USB3 is not used, you can leave SSTX/SSRX pin floating.
