SN75DP130: Can communicate with the device supporting DPx1.4 but limiting the rate up to the HBR2?

If a device that communicates with the SN75DP130 supports DPv1.4, can the SN75DP130 successfully communicate with this Devise if the device limits its data rate up to the HBR2 rate?
