My customer uses NXP PCA9600 and I am looking for an alternative.

I found P82B96, does it have Hot Swap function? I could not find the description about Hot Swap in the data sheet, so I would like to know.

If it does not have Hot Swap function, could you tell me which product has Hot Swap with similar specifications to PCA9600?

Hi Nishie,

Unfortunately the P82B96 is not rated for hot-swap support. There is the TCA9511A and TCA4307 that are hot-swappable buffers, but are not rated to drive up to 4000pF.
