When testing the can bus waveform of TCAN1043ADMTRQ1, it was found that the last frame of a group of communications would decrease or raise, as shown in the figure.

In addition, when the CANH short power supply is used, the CANL waveform will drop the last frame (as shown below). When CANL is short, the CANH waveform will be raised in the last frame. (as shown below)

The increase at the end of the frame is the ACK bit, this occurs when every other node acknowledges that the CAN frame was correctly received.

For the short waveforms, when the short being applied?

Is it normal for the last frame to have a higher or lower waveform? The short circuit test is performed on CANL short ground and CANH short power supply when CAN is communicating normally.

Yes, this is expected. ACK bits are transmitted by all other devices on the bus, and due to this, the size of the bit is generally larger.
