Hello team,

Due to functional safety related requirement, customer wants to show a default picture in cluster panel when SOC is shut down.

Can our FPD-LINK support this kind of function? And how to achieve it?

    Hi Daniel,

    The FPD-Link Ser-Des doesn't support showing a "default' image. The devices can only modify, and transmit incoming video streams. Although, the devices do have an option to output generated test patterns such as color bar, full screen single colors, or vertically scaled color patterns, etc. Would this work for your customer? Also, what serializer is used here?
