Tool/software:
Hi all,
Recently, we encountered a problem with TCAN1145-Q1:
We have a network segment with only two controllers (gateway and another TCAN1145 transceiver ECU), we first send a frame of application packets to the ECU through the gateway, but the TCAN1145 cannot process the application packets normally when sleeping, resulting in the gateway reporting an ACK error, and then the gateway has been resending this application packet, resulting in the low-priority gateway NMS frame cannot be sent normally, and the bus enters an endless loop state. Have you encountered similar problems before, and if so, how should we solve them, and should we eliminate this situation at the network design level (i.e., there are only two controllers in a network segment, one of which is an ECU with a TCAN1145 transceiver)?
Best Regards,
Ankang Wang
Ankang,
Have you tried disabling automatic retransmission in the gateway to see if this addresses the concern? Does the gateway have knowledge of the TCAN1145-Q1 power state?
Also, if there are only two nodes, what is the purpose of using TCAN1145-Q1 with partial networking implemented?
Best,
Danny
