DS280BR810: Sync to different speeds.

Tool/software:

Does the DS280BR810 require a specific register set for different data Rate 1/10/25Gbps?  I have a application where I need to use it on a channel that could change based on what is plugged in and I need to know I if I will need to write software to modify the register set for different speeds. 

Will it “sync” automatically to any of those BW inputs?

    Hi Mark,

    DS280BR810 is a linear redriver device.  Linear redriver devices essentially act as an analog active high pass filter that provide high frequency boost to compensate for insertion loss.

    Because of this, there are not any data rate settings for DS280BR810.  You will need to configure CTLE boost index for your channel, but there are not any data rate specific settings.
