Hello Hailiang,

It is difficult to make any suggestions on this without further details of the customer's system.

I would recommend the customer refer to the following app note's Section 4 for some placement information: https://www.ti.com/lit/an/snla461/snla461.pdf

Additionally, I would suggest the customer to use the device's IBIS-AMI model to simulate their system's channel with the redriver.

Hi Hailiang,

The allowed trace length will depend on the properties of the board material used in the design and the routing of the high speed channels in the system.

Are there any details regarding the proposed layout?
