DP83848Q-Q1: Transformer Polarity Compatibility

I am trying to see if the following part (P/N: SM91072AL) will work as the previous part used in our product is obsolete.



If the polarity markings on the transformers do not match will this part still perform properly? The previous obsolete transformer had the opposite polarity markings.

    Hi Sean,

    I was able to verify that the part listed meets the requirements for the magnetic isolation for DP83848. It also has the recommended, but not required, CMC for better EMI performance. These requirements are listed in section 6.2.1.4 of the datasheet
