TUSB9261: Tjunction temperature range for wide-temperature version

TUSB9261IPVP is wide-temperature version. We checked the datasheet and found the Tjunction temperature range is not mentioned for wide-temperature version.

Could you help confirm what the Tjunction temperature range is for wide-temperature version?

Hi Chen,

The junction temperature is in the datasheet. It looks like the min is -40C and max is 100C for both versions. Is this a problem for the customer?

The datasheet has this information. Sorry, I'm not sure what you're asking for. Are you asking what the nominal (typical) value of the junction temperature is?

There is more information related to calculating the junction temperature in the datasheet.

Thanks for the quick reply.

I am wondering if you have a tool or command that can query the Tjunction of TUSB9261. Just like you can use smart monitoring tool to get the temperature of the drive.

Hi Sean,

I see. No, there is no way to monitor the junction temperature. If you would like to do that, I would recommend using a thermocouple on the package of the TUSB9261.
