Hi team,

My customer wants to know if they can swap positive and negative lane for better layout design.D0+ data in D0- lane(PIN6) and D0- data in D0+ lane(PIN5)

Also they want to know if they can swap difference data lanes for better layout design. D1 data in D0 lanes(PIN5/PIN6) and D0 data in D1 lanes(PIN7/PIN8)

I think it is okay because I do not see any difference between these lanes.

Hi Peter,

Yes these lanes can be swapped, but they will need to swapped at the input and output. This may be tricky to design on the common channel if you are using regular lane ordering on channel A and swapped ordering on channel B.

Customer will swap them on both input side and output side.
