Hi Shekha,
The DS320PR1601 SigCon Architect GUI can be used to create any EEPROM file. This can be requested here: https://www.ti.com/secureresources/PCIE5-REDRIVERS-DESIGN
Upon initial load of the GUI, the EEPROM Page will be set to the 'Default' settings. A hex file of these settings can be generated using the "Write to EEPROM Hex" button.
Let me know if you have any issues using the GUI. I can provide an example file via private message if you have an issue.
Best,
David
Hi,
I have accessed PCIe 5 Redriver designs, but in the zip file only dsn file of the same is given all other documents are regarding DS320PR810 and DS320PR412.
Programming guides are also regarding the same only.
Can I get the EEPROM programming guide for DS320PR1601.
Thanks and Regards,
Shekha Shoukath
Hi Shekha,
The DS320PR1601 EEPROM follows the same configuration architecture of the DS320PR810.
Upon initial load of the GUI, the EEPROM Page will be set to the 'Default' settings. A hex file of these settings can be generated using the "Write to EEPROM Hex" button.
I would suggest using the DS320PR1601 SigCon Architect GUI to generate EEPROM files.
If you would like to learn a bit more about the structure of the EEPROM profiles, an application note under our Gen4 redriver secure folder discusses the EEPROM format, which is the same between this device and DS160PR810.
Best,
David
