Hi ,
For my one my ethernet interface design, there is reflections occurred in the RX signals while doing the signal integrity.
Is it recommended to add series termination for the driver side of rx signals and clock (length is 5.46inch) to reduce the noise.
Please give me your comments on this.
Thanks & Regards,
Pavithra DS

Clock frequency=25Mhz
Hi Pavithra,
Thank you for submitting your query. Are you referring to the RX signals on the MAC interface, between the PHY and the Processor? Reflections are usually caused by mismatched impedances, are the traces on your board impedance matched to 50Ω?
