Is there a need adjacent layer voiding of the reference plane for the DS320PR1601 signal pins? If so, what would be the recommendations?

    Hi Alan,

    Yes, we recommend voiding the reference plane below DS320PR1601 signal pins. Our general recommendation is to void 2 layers deep for all signal pins and SMD components on high-speed traces.

    The best way to determine how reference plane voiding affects high-speed performance is through layout simulations.
