Hi,

Hi Abigail,
For this mux, in terms of package, I think the TS3USB30E is the closest we have for MSOP package, and the TS3USB3000 is the closest thing we have for the MicroPak package. I don't believe we have anything for the DQFN package. Outside of packages requirements, our typical recommendation is the TS3USB221, yes.
Thanks,
Ryan
Thank you for the quick response! The customer let me know they are looking for a drop-in replacement that is mechanically compatible with the (FSUSB20MUX) part with no copper changes. So it sounds like the TS3USB30E or TS3USB3000 is maybe the closest based on the package, but still not drop in compatible options?
Hi Abigail,
Do you know what package they're using? The datasheets I can find online (seems like the FS device is OBS) have 3 different packages, so if they're using using one of the same packages as the two muxes I sent, those may be drop-in options. As long as the pin layouts are the same, I imagine functionality will be the same too.
Thanks,
Ryan
They let me know the package is10-TFSOP, 10-MSOP (0.118", 3.00mm Width), labelled FSUSB20MUXTR-ND on digikey
Hi Abigail,
If thats the case, then I think they can look at the VSSOP package of the TS3USB30E. That package has the same pinout, with the same functionality in the OE and S pins. It looks like the voltage levels used for the FSUSB20MUX should also work on the TS3USB30E as well.
Thanks,
Ryan
Hi Abigail,
Alright, sounds good! I'll go ahead and mark this as thinks resolved in the meantime.
Thanks,
Ryan
