TLIN2029A-Q1: What would happen if Vserial_diode<0.4V?

My customer has been investigating TLIN2029A-Q1. The datasheet shows Vserial_diode=04V(min) on page 7. Would you please tell me what would happen on their system if they use the diode of Vserial_diode<0.4V? They're wondering if they have to change the diode depending on the expecting issues with the current one.

Hi Kawasaki-san,

That is the specification of internal serial diode to Vsup, not the external one for master node application. There's no need and no method to change this diode.

Hello Sean-san,

Thank you very much for your quick reply. The diode my customer's worried about is the oen between Vsup and 1kOhm PU resistor to LIN pin in commander mode. It's for reverse blocking, so I understand there is no Vf requirements for that.
