DS90UB953-Q1: How confige DS90UB953-Q1‘s register MODE_SEL (Address 0x03) to overrides strapped value

Hi Jason, 

Please ensure MODE_OV (0x03[4]) is being set as well. For AON clock mode, 0x03=0x53. 

Also if the transaction is being done with local connection to the deserializer, please ensure I2C passthrough all or I2C passthrough is enabled in register 0x58 for that RX port.

I tried to write 0x03=0x53 ,but I read it back , it was still 0x48, I also tried to change RHIGH (kΩ ) = 71.5 kΩ  and RLOW (kΩ ) =56.2 kΩ , but I read register MODE_SEL (Address 0x03) ,it was still 0x48.

In our application , we do not have BCC channel , so we will not use I2C passthrough in our design.

I still have this issue.

Can you share how the I2C transaction is being used here? Is this on the local I2C bus for the 935?

Thanks for sharing the schematic here. 

Regarding schematic feedback: 

• We recommend leaving unused CSI inputs as NC. Currently CSI D2 and CSI D3 lanes are being terminated with a 50ohm resistor. 
• MODE strap in schematic is set for synchronous mode. 

Is there only one 953 device with the strap value being used on the bus? I'm curious if the MPU is reading from a different 953. R51 can also be depopulated if using AON mode.
