TSU6111A: Could we use TSU6111A as USB-UART bridge?

Hi team,

Our customer is looking for USB to UART bridge device and TSU6111A is considered.

In my understanding, TSU6111A is mulchprexer, not support USB to UART conversion.

Is my understanding correct?

    Hi Teritama,

    Correct, this device does not act as a USB to UART bridge, only a mux.

    For USB to UART bridging, our only device is the TUSB3410. However, this device is on custom release, as we lack the resources to support the software of this device. We can provide the driver as needed, but outside of that, if there is any software support need, we cannot provide it.

    If that's okay with your customer, please let me know, and I can send a datasheet over for review.
