Hi,

This depends on your receiver and cable material. Once the reclocked signal leaves the LMH0318 cable driver it is up to the receiver to compensate for any transmission media induced deterministic jitter.

Hi,

It's typically recommended to use Belden 1694A cable for SDI applications.

Note that devices like LMH0344 or LMH0397 can support 3G at 50 meters. You'll also note that there is a notable difference in the distance supported by these devices. This helps illustrate what Nick mentioned that the receiver will have an impact on the supported cable reach.

Hi,

Yes this is correct, assuming that the customer will implement LMH0344 on their receiving system. Alternatively, LMH0318 + LMH0397 will offer better margin.
