Tool/software:

Hi team,

Z8523016VEG is EOL, so customer is looking for our devices similar with Z8523016VEG.

Could you tell best cross against Z8523016VEG?

  • Hi Noriyuki,

I skimmed the competitor datasheet but from what I can see, none of our devices perform the exact same thing as the comp device. It seems this type of device uses CRCs built into it. Our devices aren't as sophisticated. Our devices are mainly just to take parallel GPIOs and turn them into serial (UART) or vice versa.

  • Bobby,

OK. It seems that TL16C752D-Q1 and TL16C752CI-Q1 are our latest devices in this category. So I want to introduce these devices, but what are the differences between TL16C752D-Q1 and TL16C752CI-Q1?

  • Hi Noriyuki,

Basically the D version is the C version but in a newer process technology. I would just recommend just choosing the D version.
