Hello TI Team,
When I test the Transmitter Output Droop of PMA, I find that the waveform has 67MHz-68MHz ringing.
Is it normal?
Another , could you provide the DP83TC814S-Q1's PMA report for us?
Best Regards!
Wang

Hi Wang,
The ringing you have pointed out is expected. This does not effect the result of transmitter output droop test. Are you seeing a passing result?
The PMA report can only be shared under NDA. Please reach out to your field application engineer for this.
Thanks,
David
Hi David,
The test result is pass.
Why does it have the ringing?
Best Regards!
Wang Jingkun
Hi Wang,
This is due to internal filters used to generate the test pattern and is expected. As you have stated the result is passing, there is no issue.
Thanks,
David
