TLK2711EVM-CVAL: EVM board have pull-up, while device has internal pull-down at PRBSEN.

Hello.

EVM board has pull-up, while device has internal pull-down at PRBSEN.

If EVM board Jumper does not installed, PRBSEN voltage is 1.7V.   

( 2.5 V * 10k / (4.7k + 10k) )

Intermediate voltage is not good.

Why does EVM board have pull-up ?

    Hi Iwase,

    Sorry for the delay. I measured the voltage level of the PRBSEN pin on the EVM and found that it is actually very close to VDD. This suggests that the internal pull-down on PRBSEN is likely much weaker than 10k. I am still actively investigating what the actual internal pull-down resistance is.

    For design purposes, a 4.7k pull-up or stronger is sufficient to pull the PRBSEN pin high.
