Pin one should be at the bottom left in this case. It looks like there is a dot trying to illustrate that. However, you can also look at the bottom of the device at the pins, and see which pin is slanted at one of the corners:

Pin 1 is indicated on the pins by the pin with the slanted corner.

Do you know what is these block dots for, very confusing if these are not pin 1 illustration.
I can't say I know why those are there, I don't believe they are typically. I can check with the devices we have here under a scope and see if I notice the same, but I believe these aren't important.
