TUSB211: About the Pin one mark of this chip

Part Number: TUSB211

Tool/software:

I received some samples,  but  can not know which is pin one from the IC chip surface.

Can any one share the pin one dot explanation for this chip-TUSB211AIRWBR

  • Hi Viola,

Pin one should be at the bottom left in this case. It looks like there is a dot trying to illustrate that. However, you can also look at the bottom of the device at the pins, and see which pin is slanted at one of the corners:

Pin 1 is indicated on the pins by the pin with the slanted corner.

Please let me know if you have any other questions.

    Thanks,

    Ryan

  • Hi Ryan

Thank you.  I can find pin 1 from  the bottom of the device.  Do you know what is these block dots for, very confusing if these are not pin 1 illustration.

  • Hi Viola,

I can't say I know why those are there, I don't believe they are typically. I can check with the devices we have here under a scope and see if I notice the same, but I believe these aren't important.

    Thanks,

    Ryan
