DS125BR401A: PCle interface network card chip material recommendation

Hello：

The 9300 platform supports PCle4x1lane and PCle3x2Lane, with a total of 2 PCIE ports. The customer wants to use these 2 PCIE ports to connect to the 10G card port chip. Since RTL8126 only supports PCIE3-1Lane, it is not very suitable for use on the 9300 platform.

So we need to find a network card chip that supports PCle4x1lane and PCle3x2Lane. Does TI have a suitable product? Thank you!!!

    Hi Jimmy,

    To clarify, are you looking for a chip which can interface between PCIe Gen3/Gen4 on one side and 10G Ethernet on the other side? TI does not have any devices with this functionality.

    We do have a wide portfolio of PCIe redrivers and muxes that improve signal conditioning. Although we do not have the exact form factors PCIe4 x1 and PCIe3 x2, we do have many devices which could be useful. Please let me know if you are interested in redrivers/muxes and I can recommend some part numbers.
