Hello,

My customer is looking for an alternative to the NX20P0407UKAZ (I attach the datasheet for your reference).
They are interested in TPD4S311 and TPD4S311A, but are unsure which is the better alternative.
Which part would TI recommend as a replacement for the NX20P0407UKAZ? What is the reason for this?

    Hi Hazuhiko-san,

    The TPD4S311A with a TVS2200 surge diode is the best replacement for the competitor feature set.

    The TPD4S311A does not provide surge protection, but does provide all of the other necessary protection, so we typically pair it with the TVS2200.  The A versus no A version is a performance enhancement for the follow on part.
