ESD351: marking

Tool/software:

I want to clarify the marking information for the part ESD351DPYR. Our database system lists the marking for this part as either "A5" or "DE", but the current datasheet available on Digi-Key’s website (updated in October 2024) only specifies "DE" as the marking.

Could you please confirm if the marking "A5" was associated with this part in an earlier version of the datasheet?

    Hi Pai,

    This is a known issue where some material in the ‘DPY’ package coming out of a certain assembly site was incorrectly marked with A5 instead of the marking seen in the data sheet, and a recent audit has confirmed this. The parts received will match the shipping label sent to Sanmina and performance will not be impacted.

    The A/T site has already worked to resolve this error, but the incorrectly marked material may be seen until the affected material makes its way through the system. These are the correct units and performance will not be affected.
