HI,

I’m currently working on an iMX93-based platform and I am trying to integrate the TCAN1048AV-Q1 CAN FD transceiver from TI.A Linux kernel v6.6.23-2.0.0. scarthgap.I need help with the following:

1)I need patch for CAN controller (or) can FD

2) Driver Integration ?

    Hi Pavithra,

    Please note that the CAN transceiver device works on the electrical level and is not directly accessed by software and your requests would pertain to the driver for the CAN controller and not so much the CAN FD device, thanks.

    I now understand that the TCAN1048AV-Q1 works at the electrical level, and that my focus should be on the CAN controller driver. Could you please guide me to the appropriate CAN controller driver for the iMX93 platform, and any specific configuration or code examples for integrating it with the TCAN1048AV-Q1 transceiver?

    Hi Pavithra,

    Unfortunately, we are not experts on the CAN controller and do not support CAN controller software as the transceiver do not need any software configuration.

    I would further recommend to reach out to the CAN controller's supplier for guidance on their recommended drivers, thanks.
