TRSF3221E: Need Confirmation on pull up of DIN and Rout Signals.

Hi team,

We are using RS232 Transceiver ( UART <-> RS232 ) with TRSF3221EIRG IC. For this one do we need to give the 10K pull up to VCC for DIN ( TX of UART ) and ROUT ( RX of UART ). As we are referring the evaluation board schematic, The Pull up configuration is mentioned.

Please confirm whether we need to use it or not.

    Hi Teja,

    It can be helpful to have a pull-up on the ROUT pin for UART so that it has a known idle voltage state, but it is not required. However a pull-up on the DIN pin is not needed. The EVM has it to simplify testing.
