DS90LV049H: DS90LV049HMTX/NOPB

Part Number: DS90LV049H

Tool/software:

Hi ,

Could you confirm the formula and value of Common-Mode Voltage Range of this part.

 VCMR=         i use this formula, with condition VID = 100 mV, VDD=3.3 V. The answer i got is 0.05 to 3.25V.

But in datasheet the value is 0.05 to 3V, with same condition

Could you please confirm the formula and correct value!

  • Hello,

Could you please share the page number in the datasheet where the formula reference above is located? I am having trouble finding it.

    Thank you,

    Amy

  • Hi,

I got those formula from our existing part's datasheet (FIN1049MTCX_Onsemi). Thats why I'm asking the formula from your side.

    Regards,

    Yazh

  • Both datasheets define the common-mode voltage as the average of the two input voltages, but for the input voltage specification, using it just obscures the absolute limits.

The FIN1049 allows voltages between GND and VCC at each LVDS input pin.
The DS90LV049H allows voltages between GND and 3.05 V at each LVDS input pin.

  • Hello,

We do not have an equivalent formula for this device. The Vcm range is as stated in the datasheet ranging from 0.05V to 3V.

The common mode input must fall within this range to guarantee datasheet parameters.

    Thank you,

    Amy
