FPD3_PORT_STS of DUAL_STS_DUAL_STS_P1 Register (Address = 0x5A) is updated only during UB941 boot up? Or it can be updated at real time?

    Hi Ryan,

    The value for FPD3_PORT_STS is detected based on the transmit mode the SER locks to the DES. This is after powerup and valid clock and video being sent, and the SER gets LOCK with with the DES (also shown in "10.2 Power-Up and Initialization" section of the datasheet).

    This cannot be updated or changes while devices are already running with video being sent. To switch to a different transmit mode (dual, single, or independent), the device would have to be reset and initialized again.
