Unfortunately, It is typically not recommended to share the same diode and resistor for commander mode across multiple LINs as it can lead to unpredictable behavior and potential damage to the circuit due to potential current imbalances if multiple LINs are actively trying to use the commander mode. Hence, we further recommend as shown in the data sheet.
If no concerns for uneven current draw, you can share a diode and resistor by further ensuring the current draws evenly - using current limiting components like adding resistors on each LIN branch to limit the current flow based on the resistance value, thanks.
