DP83867IR: to resolve link-up issue for a short cable

Hi team,

The customer had a register configration according to the instruction in our application note to resolve link-up issue for a short cable.

They found the gap between write value (0x5555) and read back value (0xDDDD) for register 0x0115. 

It seems that the bits of 3, 7, 11, 15 are read only. Is that correct ? 

Could you share it register infromation of 0x0115 regisiter to the customer because we cannot find it in the datasheet ?

    Hi Toshiaki-san,

    Unfortunately, those register are also reserved internal tuning registers. We also don't have detail description for each bits.

    This registers is mainly used for training process. It is expected to change after the link training process. 

    Yes, you are correct. bits 3,7,11,15 are the read only bits.
