TUSB564Q1-EVM: About the VBUS on the EVM

Hi HSSC team,

Looking at the schematic, I noticed that the VBUS of Type-C receptacle is not connected to [U6] TPS65987DDH's VBUS1 or VBUS2, but connected to PP_HV1. Is the connection between VBUS and VBUS_DS reversed on the PD area?

I understand this IC is under PI team but can you check it?

Also, in regards of the EVM manual, there are no instructions.

How is J5 (VBUS, VBUS_DS, and SYS_POWER) supposed to be used with the external barreljack and Type-C source/sink?

Hi Luke:

It's a mistake when we design EVM for Vbus connection. there is workaround to make this EVM work.

Hi Luke:

You can just connect type-C Vbus to type-A Vbus on EVM and it should work .
