Greetings -
The Redriver type parts feature advanced SigCon capabilities that are not well modeled or supported by regular IBIS models. IBIS is more V-I and V-T modeling of a two state output. IBIS-AMI is still young and being worked out, but that has the potential to address many of the standard IBIS limitations. It may be possible to share a HSPICE model of this device. Please contact me direct and advise on the application and your need in detail. I can be reached at John.Goldie@ti.com Sorry for the delay in response. Also, please note DS50PCIxxx supports GEN1 & 2, while the DS80PCIxxx family supports Gen 1, 2 and also 3.

Hello,
I would like to simulate with Hyperlynx the PCIe x4 transmission lanes of a board that we are designing.
The board can be equipped either with the DS50PCI402 or the DS80PCI402 and the PCIe connection is through cable.
I was looking for the model of these components when I read this post where John Goldie offer this models but through a direct contact.
I have sent an email to John Goldie but I receive an error that the email can not be delivered.
Could you please, share this models with me or the email of the person in charge of this?
Thank you.
Toshi-San,
I checked and unfortunately IBIS-AMI model is not available for this device.
1). We do have IBIS-AMI model for DS80PCI800. This part supports Gen3 PCI as well. Can you use this part instead?
2). Also, to release this model we need to make sure the customer signs NDA. Do we have NDA placed?

Hello Nasser,
I am interested in the DS80PCI800 model for testing the transmission lanes of my system at PCIe GEN3 data rates.
Thanks :)
Hi Manoel,
Please talk to your local TI sales and give them my name. They can send me internal email and we can take care of this. We need to make sure the NDA is placed and then we can provide you this model.
